<Tale of Rabbit> is a children’s musical which is a modern adaption of Korean classic fable spread by word of mouth for 300 years. It easily and interestingly introduces Korea’s traditional story and music to the children.
The story starts with the Sea King sending one of his loyal vassals, a turtle to the land in search of a rabbit which could cure the Sea king’s disease. Throughout the story going back and forth between underwater and land, hilarious situations are made, like underwater animals having a discussion of how the rabbit looks like. Similar to other fables, animals portray us humans, so the story with a witty rabbit and a straightforward turtle is not only amusing but also let the audience look back on themselves conflicting between selfishness and responsibilities.
